Salty Soaps is a family owned business.   Below please find information we listed on our about us, page of our website. We though It was worth re posting here.

Inspired by our summers on the shore of Cape Cod  we create all natural Sea salt soap bars, with organic vegetable oils, shea butter, coconut milk and herbs. Our original recipes include only natural ingredients that have proven skin benefits. We  locally source are herbs and salts, we grow our own botanicals and juice our own vegetables.    

As a Mom  with a family line of slow healing diabetic skin and problematic eczema, I was frustrated by ointments that seemed to help very little or not at all.  Inspired by my late Mother who would gather rain water for a hair rinse, used fresh fruits for skin mask and always looked fabulous I decided to get back to basics, and make a natural soap. With my daughter Lilly's help we researched natural oils and herbs widely known for their skin benefits.  After much batching, research and tweaking, we created a soap bar that cleansed, moisturized and soothed difficult skin woes. That first recipe is in our Works bar, and remains one of our best sellers. Since then we have created over 13 original recipes for all skin types, each lovingly created via our unique double processed method in micro batches.  Our ingredients are nutrient rich oils like Organic Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Argon Oil, Avocado Oil, and Pomegranate Oil.  We have that if you found that if you "love your soap, "you will love your skin."  

Today you can still find us at in the summer at farmers markets of Cape cod, and of course here on the Web. We offer our salt bars individually, and provide a "Salty Soap Club" with monthly or bi monthly automatic delivery. All of our products are tested on, family-never animals. Further, all of our suppliers from Molds to Coconut oils are sustainable conscious and cruelty free.  All of our products are vegan, we use no bee pollen, bee wax or honey. Simply there is no need, we have found responsible plant based alternatives to these ingredients that offer more benefits. We buy from US manufactures or US based fair trade suppliers.We design all the packaging which can depict some of our original art. Material is minimal. It is a simple way to reduce price and our environmental impact.All soaps are handmade in the US, In Boston Mass. and in the summer months, we are a Cape Cod soap company.
